Tree In memory of Lesley Parrish – On Saturday 19 March 2022 the Society planted a tree in Lesley's memory in St Mary’s Churchyard attended by Lesley's husband Michael and members of their family and friends from the village. The Malus Sun Rival ½ standard will provide a lasting memorial to her.
AGM and Spring Meeting – WEDNESDAY 18 MAY - Our AGM/Spring meeting will take place on Wednesday, 18 May in the Victoria Hall at 7.30pm. Our guest speaker will be local historian Nick Maslin who will be giving a talk on “The Coaching Road through Hartley Wintney”. Nick has a wealth of local information and has published several books.
Front Garden and Photo Awards are going ahead again this year – look out for posters in the village with more information. The Heritage Society 2022 Journal will be distributed to members this month by email. Printed copies will be on sale at our AGM.
Photos and Journals - we continue to update our web site with photos of the village - both old and new - and these are available for viewing by all members.together with all copies of our previously issued Journals.
Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – the Society would welcome any photos (in either digital or printed format) or other memorabilia related to the 70 years reign of Queen Elizabeth II. These will be incorporated into a special display that we hope to show at the festival this year and will also record on our website for future viewing.
