Autumn Members’ meeting Wednesday, 25th October at 7.30 pm - Victoria Hall (Doors open 7.00 pm). Following our successful and well attended AGM and Spring meeting, we look forward to welcoming you to our Autumn meeting to hear a presentation from Keith Betton on
“Birds around Hartley Wintney”
Keith has been the County Bird Recorder in Hampshire since 2010 and is currently Chair of the Hampshire Ornithological Society. He is a keen world traveller having seen nearly 8600 species in over 100 countries. A past trustee of both the RSPB and British Trust for Ornithology, he has also chaired The Ornithological Society of the Middle East and the African Bird Club – and is Vice President of the latter. We are very privileged to have Keith as our guest speaker and look forward to seeing you at our meeting.
We will also be announcing the winners of our annual Front Garden Awards at the meeting and our thanks go to everyone who has helped over the last few months with this event.
The meeting also provides an opportunity to join the Society on the night and to hear updates on current Heritage Society and other village activities. By becoming a member will allow you to view all of our annual Journals from 1983 and have access to our historical village pictures.
