Autumn Meeting – Approximately 80 members attended the meeting on the 25th October and received an interesting and informative update from Keith Betton (Chair of the Hampshire Ornithological Society) on the “Birds around Hartley Wintney”.
Councillor Chris Cornwell also gave a short update on the plans for the renovation and cleanup of the Causeway Farm, Hattens and Dilly Lane ponds. The aim is to renovate all 3 in rotation and it is hoped that the work can commence during December.
We are grateful to all presenters and Heritage Society members for supporting the Society and contributing to its success.
Planning is now underway for our Spring 2024 meeting which will be held on May 8th 2024.
