Our AGM and Spring Meeting will take place in the Victoria Hall on Wednesday, 13th May 2026. Although we are awaiting confirmation our guest speakers will be representatives from the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) who will be giving an update on their history and activities in Hampshire. We look forward to welcoming members from 7pm and new members can join on the night.

Annual Subscriptions 2026-2027 – All members have been contacted by email requesting payment of the subscription of £6.00. If you have not yet renewed, payment by bank transfer is preferred as this minimises bank charges but alternatively cash or cheques (made payable to HWHS) are also accepted and renewal can be made at the AGM.

The Heritage Society 2026 Journal has now been distributed to all members via email. We hope you have found it interesting and informative and we would welcome any articles for future publication.

As announced last month our Front Garden Awards activity will be taking place again this year with an extra category as described in the announcement on the left and we hope that you will participate in making the village look even more beautiful than ever. Judging will be taking place as usual between late June and the end of July, when judges will be walking around the whole of Hartley Wintney Village to choose the best front gardens.
