The meeting was held on Wednesday 9 October at the Victoria Hall.

Martin Barnes, organist at St John’s, opened the evening with an update on the project ‘St John’s history and Restoration 150’. Anyone who visited the exhibition at St John’s Church in June will appreciate the vast amount of material which was displayed in and around the church.

During the evening, there was an update on the Front Garden Award and Photographic Competition with the opportunity of viewing the photographs submitted.

The meeting, which was held on Wednesday 22 May at the Victoria Hall, was well attended.

The guest speaker was Marylyn Abbott who gave a talk about West Green Gardens

The Autumn Meeting, held on 17th October, was well attended and members received updates on major planning issues. Peter Sydney-Smith, representing the Rural Hart Association, gave an update on their quest for the redevelopment of Fleet Town Centre. Adrian Bunting concluded the evening with an illustrated and informative presentation on village life in Hartley Wintney during the years 1910 to 1920. Lesley Parish announced the winners of the Front Garden Award for 2018:
