These photographs of shop window displays in Hartley Wintney, the War Memorial and the display of handmade poppies cascading over the roof of St Mary’s Church, Winchfield portray the overwhelming feeling of pride and gratitude in remembering the sacrifice of the fallen on the 100 years anniversary of the end of World War One.

Once again the Village Festival was very well attended and there was a steady stream of visitors to the Society's stand. The Society was formed in 1966 and we will be celebrating this with a members’ celebration lunch on Saturday 25^th July from 12.00pm in the Victoria Hall.
